Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato and Fulantha complete the march of elegance

The relationship between Aston Martin and Dar Zagato Design is old, and continues today with the introduction of Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato and Fulante. The "Classic of the Future" recipe is ready now!

There are famed relationships in the automotive world between manufacturers and design houses, such as Pininfarina and Ferrari. In the case of Aston Martin, this relationship is with the Italian Zagato House of Design, which has always produced the finest Aston Martin limited production vehicles. And because Aston Martin understands that such cars are desirable for its customers, today we have the latest cars that Zagato stands behind: Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato and Fulante. Of course, his word is a description of Aston Martin for its convertible cars, which looks even cooler than the Coupe.

The start of the Aston Martin and Zagato relationship was with the DB4 GT Zagato in 1960. A car is now the most expensive British vehicle ever after selling one for over $ 14 million. An excellent price for a car that did not have enough orders when it was launched, the company only produces 20 of them instead of 25 cars as previously planned.
The relationship between Aston Martin and Zagato was renewed more than a quarter of a century later, when Aston Martin unveiled the V8 Zagato at the Geneva exhibition in 1986. The car was characterized by a design with straight lines and sharp corners. But what characterized it more was the combination of luxury and high performance. In 1986, before the advent of Ferrari F40 a year, the Aston Martin V8 Zagato luxury, thanks to its powerful engine of 430 horsepower, up to 300 km / h. 52 cars were produced from this coupe type, with 37 other Vaulten convertible.
The next car that the two companies collaborated on was the Aston Martin DB7 Zagato in 2002. This time on a shorter base than the standard DB7, with a 6.0-liter V12 engine and a manual gearbox to reach 100 km / h in 4.9 seconds and a maximum speed of 299 km /S. The next car was an open version of the DB7 Zagato in 2003, but on the longer standard wheelbase, and openly, the name Aston Martin BD AR1, abbreviated to the term "American Roadster", with the same mechanical specifications. A hundred cars were produced from both models DB7 Zagato, 99 of which were sold as soon as they were announced, and the last version of each model remained in the Aston Martin Museum.
Fifty years after the company's first collaboration, Aston Martin V12 Zagato appeared as a special edition to mark the occasion in 2011. Demand for it was so great that Aston Martin decided to produce 150 copies. After the car was in production, Aston Martin used it in the race, achieving excellent results in the GT racing, specifically in the 24-hour race in Nürburgring, as a semi-standard car except for safety adjustments.
Two years later, at Aston Martin's 100th anniversary, two test cars, Aston Martin DBS Zagato and Aston Martin DB9 Zagato convertible were introduced. This time, there was no expanded production of the two cars, one sold to a buyer in Japan, the other sold to the Aston Martin cars in America, no doubt a huge amount!
This year, the last cars from the two companies arrived in the form of Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato. Again, there are only 99 cars dedicated for sale, priced at half a million pounds. But with a 600-horsepower V12 engine, 0-100 km / h in 3.5 seconds, and an externally salivating exterior, all cars were sold before they were originally advertised.
Today, Aston Martin announces that Vanquish Zagato will be available in the Volante category, again with specific production for only 99 cars. If the coupe is great, Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Volante (as its full name!) Adds the unmistakable pleasure of driving to the splendor of its shape and performance. Vanquish Zagatto Volante combines the exterior design with the coupé, and the body is also made entirely of carbon fiber. Inside, Vanquish Zagato embodies the traditional craftsmanship of the company's cars, modern and luxurious. There is, of course, a luxury leather with Z-shaped zigzag, in the seats and doors and even in the nape of the headrests.
